She was predeceased by: her husband John Thomas "Tim" Shaw Jr.; her parents, Stanley Drost and Eva Drost (Skowronek); her brother Joseph Drost of Wallingford; her sister-in-law Nadine Drost of Wallingford; and her son-in-law Haralambos "Bobby" Akumianakis of Agawam.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Akumianakis (Shaw) of Newington, Timothy Shaw (Jennifer Gerace) of Wallingford and Jacqueline Rioux (Rob Rioux) of Newington; her grandchildren, Melissa Shaw of Danbury, Kelly Shaw of Meriden and Kristen Gildersleeve (Thomas) of Meriden; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Iszaiah, Jayden, Mason and Ethan; her nephews, Richard Drost (Maritza) of Virginia and Robert Drost (Linda) of Meriden; and her great-nephew Ian Drost (Cassie) of Middletown.
