We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2023 we had to say goodbye to James D. Bender of Wallingford, Connecticut, born in Plainfield, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bender and Louisa Bender (Dickover); his niece Kathryn McCormack; and his great-nephew Caleb Riley. He is survived by: his daughter Shelly Mattei (Mark) of North Haven; his sisters, Martha Bender Galligan of Wallingford and Lois Scully (Thomas) of Lilburn, GA; his granddaughters, Ava and Mary Mattei; his cousins, Joan Ruffle (George Gish), Claudia Ruffle, Paul Ruffle (Wendy) and Jan Burchfield (Mike); and his nephews, Eric Martin (Jaime) and Tyler Martin.
