He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Carr and Isabella Carr; and his pet Grover. He is survived by: his wife Maggie; his children, David and Karen; his children-in-law, Lorraine and Russell; and his grandchildren, Brendan, Noah, Caeli, Joshua and Nathaniel.
