He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Dilks (Eliason); his parents, John P. Dilks, Sr. and Violet Dilks Miller (Clemons); and his brothers, Roger Dilks, William J. Miller, Jr. and Frank L. Miller.
He is survived by: his sisters, Suzanne Dilks of Silver City, NM and Laura Thompson (Kevin Hickman) of San Antonio; his siblings' children, Charlotte Thompson, Kari Jo Miller, Jacob Thompson and Jeffrey Thompson; his sister-in-law Margie Miller; and his great-nieces, Bailey Michalak and Amira Violet Thompson.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ashlar Village (74 Cheshire Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492).
