He is survived by: his daughters, Marcie Whetzel, Janine and Tina Sacramone; his grandsons, John Whetzel (Jenna) and Sergio Sacramone-DeLeon; his great grandchild John Whetzel, Jr.; and his brother Tom Sacramone.

A graveside service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the State Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
