We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2025, at the age of 84, Joseph Lamura of Wallingford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Joseph leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Lamura and Joanne Lamura (Lubrano). He is survived by: his spouse Maddalena Lamura (DiMarcello); his daughters, Joanne Pesta (Steve Martin) of Wallingford and Angela Lamura of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Gabrielle and Jack Pesta; and his sisters, Franca and Assunta of Procida, Italy. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of the Resurrection (115 Pond Hill Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492).
