Joyce Winona Kowalczyk Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Winona Kowalczyk (Wallingford, Connecticut), who passed away on July 18, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ferguson and Pauline Ferguson; her husband Robert Frank Kowalczyk; her son Kurt Kowalczyk; and her brother Donald Ferguson.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Tom; her children, Kris Strontzer (Tom) and Kyle Kowalczyk (Judy); her grandchildren, Tanya Strontzer (Ryan) and Bryce Kowalczyk; her brother Gary Ferguson (Abigail); and her sister-in-law Kelley Ferguson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sierra Club, the Audubon society or IEN, Indigenous Environmental Network.
