She was predeceased by: her husband J. Richard Whitcomb; her parents, Shelden Wessoleck and Viola Wessoleck (Keller); and her son-in-law Robert Neubig. She is survived by: her children, John R. Whitcomb III (Cynthia), Carissa Neubig and Lisa Whitcomb (John Krick); and her grandchildren, Evan Krick (Elizabeth), Madeleine Krick Chakraborty (Pierce), Stephen Neubig (Sarah), Peter Neubig (Emily), Kayla Whitcomb and Meredith Whitcomb Daly (Timothy). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
