She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Joseph and Rosemarie Miller Piper; her aunt Gail Macholl; and her uncle Scott Piper. She is survived by: her fiancé Robert McGeehan; her stepdaughter Lily; her parents, Ronald Fowler-Piper and Ginger Fowler-Piper of West Haven; her sister Kristina Piper (Saxon Whitt); her grandparents, Patricia French and Clayton Fowler; her aunts and uncles, Eileen Piper, Ellen Klakouski, Paul "Gruncle" Macholl, Michelle Fowler, Meagan DeMayo and Clayton Fowler; and her cousins, Paul Macholl Jr. and Heather Roy (Paolo). She is also survived by many other cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kara's name to American Cancer Society for Colorectal Cancer.
