With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael A. Melillo Jr. of Wallingford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2025 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Melillo and Elizabeth Melillo Sr. (DeNigris); and his brother John Melillo. He is survived by: his wife Janet Melillo (Zielenski) of Wallingford; his children, Roxanne Sievert (Benjamin Paige), Maureen D'Addio (Mark), Michael Melillo III (Marcia), Jay Melillo (Deborah) and Jon Melillo (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Erika, Michele, David, Tricia, Rebecca, Amanda, Ethan, Evan, Carly, Jon Jr. and Grace; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Siena, Oliver and Luca; and his sister Marian DeRoy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
