She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Leroy Shumway, Sr.; her parents, Frederick J. Hartman and Martha Schott Hartman; and her siblings, Eleanor Hartman Crean, Arlene Hartman, Jakobs "Bubby" Kokoscka and Frederick J. "Sonny" Hartman, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Edward "Skip" Shumway, Jr. (Charlene) and David Mark Shumway (Connie); her grandchildren, Christopher Shumway, Tracy Shumway and Kristin Lowe (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Tilda Lowe and Margo Lowe.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or EWTN Catholic Television Network.
