Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard John Wallace of Wallingford, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 78, on May 17, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Wallace and Vetilin "Midge" Wallace; his son Joel; his son-in-law Joseph; his grandson Daniel; and his siblings, Avis, Royal and Kenny.
He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Wallace; his children, John, Danielle Jakiela (Dan), Ivy Plont and Tammy McPherson (Randy); his sisters, Sandra (Paul Duling) and Brenda; his grandchildren, Jared, Ethan, Mikayla, Nicole, Jason, Brianne, Kaitlyn, Trevor, Joseph, Kasandra, Ava and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Elenor, Mya, Hanna, Daniel, Isaac, Emme, Elijah, Parker, Logan, Lucas, Hayden and Audrina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the John J. Ferry & Sons (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Cemetery (817 Old Colony Rd, Meriden, CT 06451).
