He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Strickland and Elwyn Strickland; and his brothers, Allan and Elwyn Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Elaine Pellegrino (Dan) of East Hampton and Amy Gates (Rusty) of Montverde; and his grandchildren, Emma, Bennett Pellegrino, Aidan and Finn Gates.
