He is survived by: his children, Bianca McDermott of Wyncote, PA, Ian McDermott of El Paso, TX and Janet Blakely Kovacevich of Westfield, MA; and his brother Charles McDermott of Cheshire, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
