He is survived by: his daughter Alison Knowlton Karam (Christopher Karam) of Killingworth, CT.; his grandson Paul Robert Karam of New Haven, CT; his nieces and nephews, Janet, Richard, Jim Knowlton, Debbie Corey, Sandy Soho, Kathryn Lind Andrews, Alan and Rob Ela; and his sister-in-law Diane Lind Ela.
