It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven P. Reid of Wallingford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy II (Washburn) and John T. Reid II; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Reid (Skip) and John Szilvasy. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Reid (Szilvasy); his sons, Steven Jr., Matthew (Jessica) and Nicholas; his grandchildren, Isabella, Claudia, Wesley and Celina; his siblings, Robin Reid, Karen Gilmore (Roger) and John T. Reid III (Skip); and his siblings-in-law, Maryann Demers (Rick), Robert Szilvasy and Michael Szilvasy (Karen). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations in his honor be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of one's choice.
