He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Laura Bottone Porter; his parents, William H. Porter and Phyllis M. Morano Porter; his children, Krystin Strumskas (Russell) and Andrea Ferrari (Steven); his grandchildren, Mya, Keira and Ryder Strumskas; and his sister Mary Peach.
