He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret E Carr and William P Carr of Wallingford; and his siblings, Sarah Carr Lane, Ernest Carr, John Carr and Robert Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Geiss Carr; his children, Uwe Carr (Marina) of Germany and Sally Stanschek (Hubert) of Germany; his grandchildren, Tony, Isabel Carr, Daniel and André Stanschek; and his siblings, Eleanor Carr Corazzini of Wallingford and Richard Carr of Wallingford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
