He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hickey and Alice Hickey (White); and his brothers, Joseph Hickey, Robert Hickey and James Hickey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hickey (Woods); his children, Sarah Hickey (Gregory Hall) of Meriden and William P. Hickey Jr. (Anna) of Woodbury; his sisters, Kathleen Cronin and Ann Hickey; and his grandchildren, Helen Hickey, Edward Quinlan and Imogen Hickey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Bridget of Sweden Church (175 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410).
