He is survived by: his wife Leokadia Waszkiewicz Czerniewski; his children, Peter Czerniewski (Rachel), Marie Zakrzewski (Robert), Elizabeth Zakrzewski (Alan), Anna Grabinski (Joseph), Paula Robins (Matthew) and Stephanie Buglione (James); his grandchildren, Jacob, Luke Czerniewski, Nicholas, Alexander Zakrzewski, Kristen, Jeffrey, Daniel Zakrzewski, Michael, Christopher, Catherine Shea, Leela, Emma Robins, Walker, Kennedy and Regan Buglione; his great grandchildren, Walter Shea and Arianna Pender; and his siblings, Piotr Czerniewski, Veronika Tisco of Latvia and Jadviga Kapustinska of Latvia.
