She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sousa and Maria Amelia Sousa; and her siblings, Acacio, Antonio Sousa and Candida Sousa.

She is survived by: her children, Amandio "Andy" Silva (Marsha) of Plantsville, Edward Silva (Dottie) of Vernon, Mario "Marty" Silva (Diane Bearce) of Watertown and Linda Feldman (Mitch) of Killingworth; her grandchildren, Alison Leighton (Justin), Kara Porter (Parker), Andrea Boccia (Sean), Matthew Silva, Kimberly Silva (Dan Fraczek) and Corey Silva (Vanessa); and her sisters, Laura Silva of Waterbury and Sylvia DeGiacomo of Rye Brook, NY. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren.
