We announce the death of Anthony J. Cipriano (Waterbury, Connecticut), who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Cipriano and Elizabeth Cipriano (Niele). He is survived by: his wife Ginny (Bernier); his children, Anita Cipriano (Robert Newell) of Middlebury and Anthony Cipriano of Southington; his granddaughters, Elena Cipriano of Beacon Falls and Emily Cipriano of Tampa, FL.; his siblings, Alan Cipriano (Cindy) of Watertown and Jackie Cipriano of Watertown; and his siblings-in-law, Ernest Bernier (Luda) of California, Fred Bernier (Ellen) of Pennsylvania, Gail Evangelista of Pennsylvania and Jean Bablonka (Joe) of Alaska. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maiorano Funeral Home (95 Willow St, Waterbury, CT 06710). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (574 Main St, Watertown, CT 06795).
