She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Barbosa; her parents, Francisco Rocha and Maria Rocha (Silva); and her daughter-in-law Heather Barbosa. She is survived by: her children, Cecilia Fernandes (Richard) of Waterbury, Estela Surreira (Joao) of Waterbury, Manuel "Joe" Barbosa of Waterbury, Armando Barbosa (Diane) of Thomaston and Frank Barbosa (Shawnda) of Torrington; and her brother Adao Rocha of Waterbury. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
