She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Roche and Mary Roche (Garland); her husband Peter D. Pocius; her stepson Kenneth J. Pocius; and her sister Marilyn Roche Ryan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Williams (Richard) of Prospect and Roseann Stewart (James) of Trinity; her siblings, Nancy Reid of Trenton and Timothy Roche (Bette) of Bethlehem; her grandchildren, Emily Costa (Jesse) of Woodbridge, Julie Campus of Los Angeles, CA, Annie Capobianco of Middletown, Molly Capobianco of Orlando, FL, Bryan Pocius (Beth) of New York, David Pocius of Vermont and Stephanie Greaves (Matt) of Middlebury; her nephew Tim Roche (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Ezra Costa of Woodbridge, Quinn, Avery Greaves of Middlebury, Sarina and Melanie Pocius of New York; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Pocius.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, where Barbara served as a Eucharistic Minister and found strength in her faith.
