It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berta Palmer of Waterbury, Connecticut, born in Notasulga, Alabama, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Palmer; her parents, Owen Nealey and Mary Nealey (Moss); her daughter Karen Lee Ford; her son-in-law Willie James Fields; and her siblings, Alfred Nealy, Evonne Andrews, Bessie Lou Moss, Betty Johnson, Elizabeth Collins, Lois Iverson, Ira Collins and Lovett Moss.
She is survived by: her daughter Dorothy Fields of Waterbury; her grandchildren, Chandra Gary (Jerry), Steven Fields, Jamesina Whyte (Michael), Tammy Fields and Earl Fields; her great grandchildren, Asia, Shanee, Brianna, Maniya, Ashley, Tatyana, Victor, Alyssa, Alani, Malachi, Tristan, Maleya, Madden, Amir and Armani; and her sisters, Mabel Christine Wood of Alabama, Agnes Cooper of Waterbury and Shirley D. Freeman of Waterbury.
