It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Smith of Waterbury, Connecticut, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph Smith; her parents, George Thomas and Eleanor Thomas (Punter); and her siblings, Diane Shell and Tyrone Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Edward D. Thomas of North Haven, CT and Alicia Thomas of Baton Rouge, LA; her grandchildren, Laval Thomas of Waterbury, Tarell Thomas of Waterbury and Donte Jordan of Waterbury; her great grandchildren, Tariel Thomas of Waterbury, Vayanna Thomas of Florida, Vella Thomas of Florida and Dyshawn Rougier of Waterbury; and her sibling's children, Chranda Walton of Waterbury and Herbert Shell of Waterbury.
