It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Marti (Waterbury, Connecticut), who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arcadio Jose Rivera and Michaela Amaro; and her children, Jose Angel Rodriguez and Evelyn Iglesias. She is survived by: her children, Vivian Diaz, Sandra Rodriguez, Luis Angel Rodriguez, Lourdes Iglesias, Wanda Benitez, Aracelis Virella, Maritza Richardson and Jose Angel Degros. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
