With sadness, we share the passing of Catherine Rocco of Waterbury, Connecticut. Catherine, born on July 6, 1923, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Catherine for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Catherine’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent Rocco; her parents, William Mecca and Marguerite Mecca (Santasiero); and her siblings, Leonard, Domenic, Anthony Mecca and Mildred Mecca.
She is survived by: her son Anthony Rocco (Diana) of Waterbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (74 W Main St, Waterbury, CT 06702).
