He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario Fama and Joan Tartarelli (Blinn); his parents-in-law, Barbara White and Joseph Marcell Dauphinais; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Dauphinais, Henry Janiszewski and Alan Stephanofsky.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Fama (Dauphinais); his stepfather Donald Tartarelli; his daughter Brandee Cruz (Jonny); his grandchildren, Trinity, Jason, Logan, Hailee, Cody, Zachary, Autumn, Leviathan and Liliana; his son David Jr.; his grandchildren, Michael, Alexia, Ellie and David; his stepson Matthew Dauphinais; his stepgrandchild Lyra; his siblings, Judi Janiszewski, Teresa Daddona (Francis), Laura Stephanofsky, Dan Fama and Tom Fama (Kim); and his stepsiblings, Dino Tartarelli and Dina Ungieheier (John).
