He is survived by: his wife Eileen Schain (Gow); his children, Lisa Schain Higgins (Daniel) of Waterbury, Kevin Schain of Waterbury and David Schain of Nevada; his grandsons, Lucas and Cameron Higgins; his brother Myron Schain (Tracy) of North Carolina; his father-in-law Harold Gow of Waterbury; his siblings-in-law, Michael Gow (Colleen) of Torrington, Thomas Gow of Waterbury and Cathleen Havican (Jerry) of Waterbury; and his nieces, Stephanie Havican Nieves (Christopher) of Wallingford and Melissa Havican (Christopher Saunders) of Waterbury.
