He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Mazzaferro and Nancy Mazzaferro (Panasci); and his sister Joan Ruth. He is survived by: his sisters, Bonita Mazzaferro of Harwinton and Lynda Mazzaferro of Waterbury; his brother-in-law William DelPo; and his nephews, Sean Ruth, James Ruth, Richard Ruth (Sarah), Christopher Ruth (Kimiko), Benjamin Ruth (Vidia) and Thomas Ruth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to Catholic Academy of Waterbury, 386 Robinwood Road, Waterbury, CT 06708, reflecting David's deep belief in Catholic education.
