WATERBURY- Dawn M. DiLonardo, 46, of Waterbury, CT, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 at Waterbury Hospital.

Dawn was born on March 11, 1974, the daughter of Mr. Anthony L. DiLonardo Sr. and Mrs. Deborah A. (Coer) DiLonardo. She spent her early childhood years in Naugatuck and attended St. Hedwig School. She then transferred to St. Mary's Grammar School in Waterbury and graduated from Sacred Heart High School, class of 1992. From there she went on to study at Porter and Chester. She took pride in being an office manager at Bloomingdales for several years. She also worked at Bradlee's and Oakcliff Convalescent Home, both in Waterbury. Dawn was a free loving spirit who loved Freestyle and could often be seen riding around Waterbury in her red Cavalier with her sunroof and windows open, singing along. She was amazing cook and loved to have people over to try her home made spanish dishes. She thoroughly enjoyed horror movies, live shows, going to the beach and tanning, and she loved going to amusement parks. She also enjoyed going to waterfalls, going on motorcycle rides, and traveling to Florida and Pennsylvania. Dawn's daughter was the light of her life, her pride and joy. She had a big heart and wanted nothing more than to help others in need.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her daughter Emma Ciotti and her father Mark Ciotti , siblings Christina DiLonardo and her partner Patrick "Rikki" Ross, Anthony L. DiLonardo Jr. and his wife Omayra Lebron, and Rachel DiLonardo, two aunts, Rosemary Lapan, Sarita Lacombe and her husband Joel Lacombe, her uncle Marc Coer, nieces Natalia, Breanna and Aviana DiLonardo, and Amber Ross. She was predeceased be her paternal grandparents Anthony N. DiLonardo and Emily (Conte) DiLonardo, maternal grandparents Harold K. Coer Jr and Georgette (Marinelli) White, and her uncle Harold K. Coer III. She also leaves behinds many cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Dawn DiLonardo, due to covid-19 regulations, will be held privately. Family and friends may visit with Dawn’s family, complying with all applicable social distancing guidelines on Wednesday July 22, 2020 from 5pm to 7pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial 1987 East Main St. Waterbury CT 06705. .
