It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Affhauser of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Diane is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Earl Raymond Affhauser; her parents, Bruce Wachtel of Afton and Evelyn Wachtel (Endrikis); her daughter Jessica Batiz (Victor) of Clayton, NC; her grandchildren, Isabelle and Carlos; and her siblings, Deborah Thibodeau of Plainville, CT, Denise Cooke (Bill) of Waterbury and Douglas Wachtel of Winsted, CT.
