She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Shugrue Jr.; her parents, Thomas Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Fitzgerald (Clancy); her daughter Colleen A. Shugrue; her grandson Maurice F. Shugrue IV; and her siblings, Thomas Fitzgerald Jr. John Fitzgerald, Ann Juan and Mary Fasano.
She is survived by: her children, Maurice "Moe" F. Shugrue III (Cindy LeVasseur) of Waterbury and Susan Albini (Giovanni "John") of Watertown; her siblings, Edward Fitzgerald and Catherine Grozik; and her grandchildren, Nicole Canelli, Jessica Shugrue, Jeremiah Shugrue, Tara Piantetosi, Jacob Shugrue, Danielle Albini and John Albini.
