We are sad to announce that, on January 29, 2026, at the age of 83, Ellen M. Lumia (Waterbury, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Keyser and Helen Keyser (Austin); and her husband James Lumia. She is survived by: her brother Albert Keyser; her sons, James Lumia (Gina Lumia), Paul Lumia (Candace Lumia) of Wolcott and Jeff Lumia (Kim Lumia) of Wolcott; her grandchildren, Brian, Jeffrey, Isabella, Sara Kate and Thomas James; her sister-in-law Mary Lumia of Waterbury; her nephews, Steven Keyser and Chuck Lumia; and her niece Kayla Keyser.
A generous soul, Ellen found comfort and purpose in crocheting, lovingly donating many of her handmade blankets to the Veterans Home in Rocky Hill, as well as gifting them to family, friends, and anyone in need of warmth and kindness.
