With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evette George of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on June 12, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "King" George; her parents, Najib Kaddo and Watfa Kaddo (Sadey); her daughter Tamara Zappone (Angelo); and her sisters, Hasna Rahban and Saada Matrak.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Scozzafava (Louis) of Wolcott, Odette Franceskino (Robert) of Prospect, Juanita George of Waterbury, Patricia George (Brian Colligan) of Wolcott, Sally Delman (David) of Texas, William George Jr. of Waterbury and Linda DeLuca (George) of Wolcott; her grandchildren, William Zappone, Evette Zappone, Michelle DiBona (Frank), Jason Scozzafava (Dana), Robert Franceskino Jr. (Dan), Michael Franceskino (Jen), Stephanie Tiganella, David Tiganella and Alyse DeLuca; and her great grandchildren, Gwen, Fiona, Jake, Lila, Laura, Tessa and Pierson.
