He was predeceased by: his parent Filomeno Irizarry; and his sister Gladys Irizarry. He is survived by: his wife Lidia Irizarry; his children, Fernando Irizarry (Elise), Esther Arce (Geraldo), Denise Irizarry (Steve Chaivanik) and Elsie Irizarry; his grandchildren, Delsie Angelicola, Theresa Angelicola (AJ), Elizabeth Angelicola (Tyler), Richard Arce (Brenda) and Ivette Arce (Ryan); his great grandchild Lucas of Waterbury; and his cousins, Jossie Rivera, Ismael and Israel Segarra.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Lung Association, to continue to help fund research and treatment for those affected by lung diseases.
