He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores B. Hajjar (Bucci); his parents, David Hajjar and Martha Hajjar (Nejame); his sons, David and Michael Hajjar; and his sisters, Sadie Devino, Marie Connor and Madeline Compton.

He is survived by: his children, Rosemary Cullen of Waterbury, Maureen Hajjar of Waterbury and Dr. George Jude Hajjar of Prospect; his grandchildren, Krista Cullen, Robert Cullen, David Hajjar, Laurice Hajjar, Marella Hajjar, George Hajjar and Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Layla and Olivia.
