He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sakocius and Alice Sakocius (Klimasauskas); and his brother George Sakocius Jr.. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Elaine Sakocius (Dennis Neal) of Middlebury, Sharon Machin (Hal) of Middlebury, Cynthia Michalski (Jeff) and George Sakocius of Naugatuck; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katie Dickey (Austen Rivera) of Newington, Amber Dickey of East Hartford, Heather Sakocius of Waterbury, Joshua of Middlebury, Nora Machin of Middlebury, Todd and Jason Michalski; and his close friend Margaret Stager of Thomaston.
