He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hobbs Becton; his children, Dallas Edwards of Fort Lauderdale, Elton Becton, James Edwards, Eric Becton Richardson of New Haven, CT., Charlene White, Zelda Hobbs and Alfred Hobbs of Waterbury, CT.; and his son-in-law Larry Weldon of Hookerton, NC.. He is also survived by child' he is survived by loving cousins who were like sisters, and brothers.
