It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Sherman (Waterbury, Connecticut), who passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Namura and Anna Namura (Kachergus); and her husband Daniel J. Sherman. She is survived by: her daughters, Roseanne Sherman of Cyprus, Jeanine James (Paul) of Windsor and Anna-Marie Cartagena (Gene) of West Haven; and her granddaughter Andrea Penta (Seth Schein).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (182 Robbins St, Waterbury, CT 06708). A burial will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 11:20 AM to 11:45 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2324 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
