He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Conway and Marjory Conway; and his brother Daniel Donovan. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Kobelski (Gary) of Watertown and Patrick Conway (Shelby McManamy); his grandchildren, Cadence, Gary Jr., Harlee and Aurora; his brothers, Patrick and Francis; and his cousin Kathleen Zembrzuski.
