He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Carroll; his sons, Lt. John F. Carroll III (Donna) of Brookfield, CT and Christopher Carroll of Waterbury, CT; his granddaughter Katherine Carroll; and his siblings, MaryFrances Alonzo, Catherine Osiecki (Robert), Patricia Petrochuk (Kon), Robert Carroll, Peter Carroll and Susan Grasso (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
