He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward M Jr. Cookson and Marjorie F. Cookson (French). He is survived by: his children, Melissa J. Berner (David) of Nazareth, PA, John E. Cookson (Marta), Potomac, MD and Marci A. McAllister (Ryan) of Burlington; and his grandchildren, Hayden Berner, Hunter Cookson, Sadie Cookson, Lanie Cookson, Kayden McAllister, Ella McAllister and Kallie McAllister.
