He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Cruz and Maria Cruz (Arroyo). He is survived by: his wife Delia Cruz; and his children, Jose F. Cruz (Marylou) of Waterbury, Griselle Nieves (David) and Iris Pena (Ivan Viega). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many close friends.
