She was predeceased by: her father Thomas J. Samolis. She is survived by: her mother Sarah Frances Samolis (Lukos); her siblings, Victoria C. Samolis-Durfee (Peter) of Raynham, MA, Patricia A. LaFrance (David) of Pomfret Center, Sheryl Kennedy of Bantam, Thomas J. Samolis, Jr. of Waterbury and George V. Kulikauskas (Kristina) of Watertown; and her nieces and nephews, Felicity Samolis, Serenity Samolis, Haley, Michelle Kulikauskas, Philip and Jack Larrow. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

“We at the Torrington Lions Club feel deeply sad to hear about Lori. She was the happiest person always when I saw her. She loved and lived life. What a smile she had. So sorry we did not make it to the wake we all just heard about it yesterday and today. Shocked was an understatement Lori had a big heart and her hugs were always so welcoming! . She will be sorely missed and I am so glad I knew her. Our lion family sends out condolences to her family and also to all her friends.”
