It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Sewell of Waterbury, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucius Walker and Maggie Walker; her siblings, Fred Hollis, Herschel Gaines, Donald Kobina and Mildred Gatling; her brother-in-law Tilman Riley Lewis; and her nephew Clarence Walker Gatling Sr..

She is survived by: her siblings, Catherine Darby of New Jersey, Gladys Gordon of Waterbury, Helen Olive of North Carolina, June Lewis of Cheshire and Shirley Pitts of Waterbury; and her nieces and nephews, Beverly Gordon, Michael Lewis, Tanya Barrett (Anthony), Crystal Lewis, Kevin Lewis, Theodore Pitts, Paul Pitts, Naomi Pitts, LaShaya Gatling, Peter Walker and Clarence "C. J.". She is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.
