It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mahadeo Persaud of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mahadeo leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Mahadeo may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shireena Alli-Persaud; his parents, Gangadyal Persaud and Joycelyn Persaud (Kahn); his sons, Alex and Liam Persaud; and his friends, Anno and Tony. He was also cherished by his four brothers, two sisters, many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous cousins, extended family.
