She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick J. O'Brien, Jr.; and her parents, Josephine Reynolds (Bruscino) and George W. Reynolds. She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Ellen Massimo (Tom) and JoAnn Reynolds-Balanda (Dick); her nieces, Jennifer M. MacDonald (Toby), Ann Marie M. Martone (Tony) and Bridget Balanda (Alex); her nephew William R. Balanda (Cathy); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Owen, Alec MacDonald, Anthony, Joey, Mia Martone, Julia, Eli Balanda and Elora Mitchell.
She chaired the annual Waterbury, St. Patrick's Day Parade and was honored as Waterbury Irish Mayor of the Day for 2 years due to the Covid Pandemic- 2020 & 2021!
