Marie left this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Preteska; her parents, Raffaele Cerminara and Rosaria Cerminara; and her brothers, Luigi Cerminara (Lou) and Frank G. Cerminara.
She is survived by: her son Shane Preteska of Waterbury; and her siblings, Greg Cerminara (Linda) of Shelton, Antoinette Bonadio (Ted) of Shelton and Joanne DiScala (Robert) of Trumbull. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Trumbull Church of Christ (2 Drew Cir, Trumbull, CT 06611).
